  Life often puts us in situations where we feel we must make a decision immediately. We may be tempted to respond quickly, speak before listening, or choose simply because we feel pressured. But not every decision needs an instant answer. Sometimes, the wisest thing we can do is pause . Taking time to understand does not mean being indecisive. It means giving ourselves the opportunity to listen carefully, consider the situation, and seek God's wisdom before moving forward. A hurried decision may satisfy the urgency of the moment, but a thoughtful decision can bring peace for the days ahead. The Bible reminds us: “He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.” — Proverbs 14:29 (KJV) God does not ask us to figure everything out by ourselves.
