Psalm 3 - What do we learn
PSALM 3 "Confidence in Crisis" Psalm 3 is a powerful psalm of trust and deliverance written by David when he fled from his son Absalom. Psalm 3:1 "Lord, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me!" David is overwhelmed by the number of enemies. He’s not just being attacked physically, but emotionally and spiritually. When we face overwhelming problems or feel outnumbered, we can still cry out honestly to God. He listens. Psalm 3:2 "Many are saying of me, 'God will not deliver him.'" His enemies are mocking his faith, suggesting even God has abandoned him. Others may doubt our relationship with God, but their opinions do not define His faithfulness. Hold on to God’s promises. Psalm 3:3 "But you, Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the One who lifts my head high." David shifts from fear to faith.
