Proverbs 3:6 – Acknowledge God in Every Step

Image
Acknowledge God in Every Step Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. A Life Guided by God Life is filled with choices. Some decisions are small and routine, while others have the power to shape our future. In moments of uncertainty, we often rely on our own understanding, experience, or advice from others. However, God's Word gives us a better way. Proverbs 3:6 teaches us to acknowledge God in all our ways . This means inviting Him into every area of our lives—not just during difficult times, but in our daily routines, relationships, careers, studies, finances, and ministry. When we place God first and seek His wisdom, we allow Him to lead us according to His perfect will. To acknowledge God is to trust Him completely. It is choosing prayer over worry, faith over fear, and obedience over personal preference. Even when the road ahead seems unclear, we can rest in the promise that the Lord will direct our paths. God's direction may not always...

Proverbs 3: 5 - Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart

Image
Trust in the Lord with All Your Heart   Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. Trusting God Beyond What We Can See Life often brings moments when we don't understand what God is doing. Plans fail, prayers seem unanswered, and the future appears uncertain. During these times, our natural tendency is to depend on our own wisdom, emotions, and limited understanding. However, Proverbs 3:5 reminds us that true peace comes from placing our complete trust in the Lord. To trust God with all our heart means surrendering every fear, doubt, dream, and decision into His hands. It is a wholehearted confidence that God knows what is best, even when we cannot see the outcome. The second part of the verse warns us not to lean on our own understanding . Human wisdom is limited, but God's wisdom is perfect. What seems impossible to us is always within His power. When we rely only on what we can see or comprehend, we often become anxious. ...

Proverbs 3:4 – Finding Favor with God and Man

Image
Finding Favor with God and Man Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. Walking in Favor Through God's Wisdom Everyone desires favor—whether in our relationships, workplace, ministry, or daily life. Proverbs 3:4 reminds us that true favor is not something we chase; it is something that follows a life rooted in God's truth. This verse comes after Proverbs 3:3, where we are encouraged: "Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart." When mercy and truth become part of our character, they shape the way we speak, act, and treat others. As a result, we experience favor and gain respect both from God and from people around us. What Does "Favor" Mean? God's favor is His gracious blessing and approval upon our lives. It opens doors, provides guidance, and gives us strength in difficult situations. While we cannot earn God's love through our works, li...

Wear Love and Faithfulness Every Day Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart.   In a world where values often change with circumstances, God's Word reminds us to hold tightly to two timeless virtues—love and faithfulness. Proverbs 3:3 encourages us not only to practice these qualities but to make them a permanent part of who we are. This verse teaches us that our character should reflect God's heart in every situation. What Does "Love and Faithfulness" Mean? Love Biblical love goes beyond feelings. It is a choice to care, forgive, serve, and show kindness to others just as God loves us. Genuine love is patient, compassionate, and selfless. Faithfulness Faithfulness means being trustworthy, loyal, dependable, and committed. It reflects God's unchanging nature. Whether in our relationship with God, our family, friends, or work, faithfulness builds trust and honors the Lord. "Bind Them...

The God Who Hears and Strengthens - Psalm 138 : 8

Psalm 138 is one of the most encouraging Psalms.  It is written by David.  He is a man after God's own heart.   David is praising God for answering his prayers.   This Psalm is filled with some amazing truths. In this Psalm, verse 3 is my favorite one.  Psalm 138:3 - “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.” This Psalm is not only encouraging.  It is also inspiring.  It speaks of whole hearted praise for God, worship of His holiness, God's loving kindness and truth, the power of God's word, God's ways, and so much more.   This verse highlights two blessings that came when he cried out to the Lord: 1.  “In the day when I cried out, You answered me” David acknowledges that God heard and responded to his prayer. The answer may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but God listens to the cries of His people.  God is always there for me, I just need to seek Him.  G...

Psalm 4 - What does it tell us?

PSALM 4 “Peace in the Night: Trusting God Through Psalm 4” A Psalm of David Psalm 4 is an evening prayer of trust. David speaks to God, to his enemies, and to his own heart. Psalm 4:1 “Answer me when I call to you, my righteous God…” David begins with prayer. He calls God “righteous” — meaning God always does what is right. He remembers past deliverance: “You gave me relief when I was in distress.” Faith grows when we remember how God helped us before. Psalm 4:2 “How long will you people turn my glory into shame?” David now speaks to his enemies. They are attacking his honor and position. They love “delusions” and “false gods.” When people reject truth, they chase emptiness. Psalm 4:3 “Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself…” David reminds them: God chooses and protects His faithful ones. “The Lord hears when I call.” Confidence comes from knowing you belong to God. Psalm 4:4 “Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts…” Thi...

January 13 , 2026 – Letting Go of the Former Things - Isaiah 65:17

Letting Go of the Former Things Isaiah 65:17 Behold, I Will Create New Heavens And A New Earth. The Former Things Will Not Be Remembered, Nor Will They Come To Mind. Life often carries moments of disappointment, regret, and longing for a fresh start. In Book of Isaiah 65:17, God gives a powerful promise of renewal — a new heaven and a new earth. This verse reminds us that no matter how broken things may seem, God’s plan is restoration, hope, and new beginnings. Let this meditation encourage your heart to trust in His promise of making all things new. A Promise of Total Renewal God speaks through Isaiah about something far greater than temporary relief. He promises a new heavens and a new earth —not just improved conditions, but complete transformation. This shows us that God is not in the business of patchwork repair. He restores fully. When life feels broken—mistakes, regrets, disappointments—this verse reminds us that God’s ultimate plan is renewal, not ruin. “The Former Thing...
