 God’s Gift of Transformation

Ezekiel 11:19 

“I will give them an undivided heart and put a new spirit in them; I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh.”

This verse is God’s beautiful promise of inner transformation. A “heart of stone” is cold, stubborn, and unresponsive to God. But God does not leave us that way. He steps in with grace, offering a “heart of flesh”—a heart that feels His love, responds to His voice, and desires to walk in His ways.

This change is not something we achieve on our own; it is something God does within us. When we surrender, He softens what has become hardened, heals what is broken, and fills us with a new spirit that longs to follow Him. God restores us from the inside out.

Wherever you feel closed, tired, or spiritually dull today, God is ready to renew your heart and breathe life into your spirit again.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for Your promise to give me a new heart and a new spirit. Remove every hardness in me—every stubbornness, every fear, every heaviness—and fill me with a heart that responds to Your love. Make me sensitive to Your leading and strengthen me to walk in Your ways. Let Your Spirit guide my thoughts, my actions, and my choices today. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
