  The Blessing of Walking in God's Wisdom Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones. Proverbs 3:8 follows the powerful instruction found in the previous verse: "Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil." When we choose to humble ourselves before God, honor Him, and turn away from sin, His Word promises a wonderful blessing. The verse says, "It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones." In biblical language, this is a beautiful picture of complete well-being. The navel represents life and nourishment, while the marrow symbolizes strength deep within the bones. Together, they remind us that God's wisdom refreshes us from the inside out. This verse does not promise a life free from sickness or hardship. True Wisdom Begins with Humility Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. In today's world, people are encouraged to trust their own knowledge, opinions, and abilities. While wisdom and learning are valuable, the Bible reminds us that true wisdom begins with humility before God. Proverbs 3:7 warns us against being "wise in our own eyes." Pride can make us believe that we have all the answers and no longer need God's guidance. When we depend solely on our own understanding, we are more likely to make decisions that lead us away from God's perfect will. Instead, God calls us to fear the Lord . Biblical fear is not about being terrified of God but about having deep reverence, respect, and awe for Him. It means recognizing His authority, trusting His wisdom, and choosing to obey His commands. The second part of the verse says to "depart from evil." Psalm 138 is one of the most encouraging Psalms.  It is written by David.  He is a man after God's own heart.   David is praising God for answering his prayers.   This Psalm is filled with some amazing truths. In this Psalm, verse 3 is my favorite one.  Psalm 138:3 - “In the day when I cried out, You answered me, And made me bold with strength in my soul.” This Psalm is not only encouraging.  It is also inspiring.  It speaks of whole hearted praise for God, worship of His holiness, God's loving kindness and truth, the power of God's word, God's ways, and so much more.   This verse highlights two blessings that came when he cried out to the Lord: 1.  “In the day when I cried out, You answered me” David acknowledges that God heard and responded to his prayer. The answer may not always come in the way or timing we expect, but God listens to the cries of His people.  God is always there for me, I just need to seek Him.  G...
