Proverbs 4:20 – Listen Carefully to God’s Word

 “My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.”

God’s Word is not meant to be heard casually and then forgotten. It calls us to pay attention, listen carefully, and receive its instruction with a willing heart. In Proverbs 4:20, the father lovingly tells his son to give attention to his words and listen closely to his sayings.

“Attend to My Words”

To attend to God’s words means to read them thoughtfully, meditate upon them, and allow them to speak to our hearts.
