This principle applies not only to material giving but also to our time, kindness, encouragement, and service. If someone needs encouragement, we can offer it today. If we can help someone with a task, we should not unnecessarily postpone it. If someone needs forgiveness or a word of comfort, we should not always wait for a more convenient time.

Our busy lives can make us overlook opportunities to bless others. Proverbs 3:28 encourages us to be attentive and willing. A small act of kindness today can have a lasting impact.

  • Respond promptly when someone genuinely needs your help.
