Proverbs:1:3

 Proverbs 1:3 says:

"To receive the instruction of wisdom, justice, and judgment, and equity."

This verse explains that Proverbs teaches us:

1.     Wisdom – How to make good choices in life.

2.     Justice – How to treat people fairly.

3.     Judgment – How to make the right decisions.

4.     Equity – How to be honest and fair to everyone.

The meaning of this verse is that the purpose of wisdom is to guide us toward living a life that aligns with God’s values—righteousness, justice, and fairness. The verse emphasizes that wisdom is not just about knowing facts or gaining knowledge, but about applying this knowledge in a way that leads to a disciplined life, one that is guided by God's principles.

Spiritually, this verse teaches that following wisdom leads to living in a way that pleases God. It directs us to live morally, justly, and with integrity, which reflects God's character. In short, wisdom helps us live a life that reflects God’s love, justice, and righteousness, making choices that honour Him and benefit others.  God’s wisdom shapes our character, helping us lead a life of righteousness, fairness, and sound judgment.
